Jennifer will lead 14 promising young writers in this year's Teen Writing Experience to be held at the Frances Morrison Public Library.

May 23-28, 2011: Spring Festival of New Plays
The Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre held its annual flagship event in Saskatoon this year. It featured seven plays by seven playwrights, some of this country's finest workshop actors and leading directors from across the country. As SPC Dramaturge, Jennifer was thrilled to work with each and every one of them -- includinge the wonderful Stephen Heatley, this year's guest Festival Dramaturge.September 9th, 2010: Staged Reading of "Whistling at the Northern Lights"

Staged reading directed by Urban Stages Artistic Director Frances Hill featuring renowned Broadway actors Susan Louise O'Connor & Susan Greenhill. Urban Stages is an award-winning Off-Broadway theatre that has recently produced Canadian playwrights Stephen Massicotte (The Oxford Roof Climbers' Rebellion) and Daniel MacIvor (Marion Bridge).
Jennifer gratefully acknowledges the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Saskatchewan Arts Board for being able to attend the New York event. The Saskatchewan Arts Board also provided development support during the writing of an early draft of Whistling at the Northern Lights.

September 14- October 5, 2010: Weaving Words: Stories of the World
Jennifer led a writing workshop designed for newcomers to Canada and currently living in Saskatoon and area. Sessions ran Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on from Sept. 14-Oct. 5, 2010 at the Global Gathering Place.

Join Jennifer for a five day writing retreat designed to help you launch a new novel.Is there a story you’ve always longed to tell? Something you just can’t get out of your mind – a character, an event, a setting? Whatever your reasons, if you feel inspired to begin a novel, this course is a great way to kick things into action and begin your journey. Who's eligible? Anyone wishing to work on a novel.
